Jesus provided a constant flow of the finished work of the cross.
Take your eyes off the world.
Fix your eyes on the finished work of the cross.
ISAIAH 61:1-2 (AMP)
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me
To bring good news to the humble and afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted,
To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives
And freedom to prisoners,
2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance and retribution of our God,
To comfort all who mourn,
Through His ministry of “jubilee,” Christ announced the beginning of a new season – a new day. Jubilee means to flow. Jesus provided a continual flow in every season of life – a lifetime of continual flow as He finished for us and as us. A constant flow of the finished work of the cross. Let’s take our eyes off the world and fix our eyes on the finished work of the cross. The Project of Christ, His death and resurrection, is to bring a new creation on the earth. This is still His project, a people that function as a new creation. As the Christ generation, we are in this world but not of this world. His Kingdom is not of this world. For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. What God is about to release on the earth cannot come from Egypt (the world system or flesh). It cannot come from the time system, and environmental context and limitations, of the world. It will only come from the heavens (spirit realm) to heal the nations. A glorious move of God is coming on the earth, which will not come from the world. It will only come from the Christ within you. It needs to go in its purest form, where nothing will contaminate it. Gifts cannot cause you to grow—fruit cause you to succeed. We are living in serious times. God is not going to fulfil His purpose from the perspective of Egypt but through His finished work of the cross. If there was ever a time that required our total reliance on His finished work on the cross, it is now. It’s Passover. God wants to recalibrate our values. May the Holy Spirit adjust us only to do what we see our Father do. Let’s proclaim a lifetime of a continual flow of abundant life as Christ finished for us and as us. – Dr. Ben Kleynhans.
