Behold, a new order has come!
This new order is a person, Christ: Generation Christ or the 42 nd Generation
Christ introduced a new season of the Finished Work of the Cross
Take your eyes off the world, fix your eyes on the Finished Work of the Cross
2 Corinthians 5: 14-21 (AMP)
14 For the love of Christ controls and compels us, because we have concluded this, that One died for all, therefore all died;
15 and He died for all, so that all those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and was raised for their sake.
16 So from now on we regard no one from a human point of view [according to worldly standards and values]. Though we have known Christ from a human point of view, now we no longer know Him in this way.
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
18 But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him],
19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God].
20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.
21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].
If anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. We are not reformed or refurbished; we are made entirely new by our union with Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Behold, a new order has come! A new generation, a new creation, a brand new man. This new order, new creation, is a person, Christ; Generation Christ or the 42nd Generation. Christ introduced a reset, new beginnings, a new season. The season of the Finished Work of the Cross. It is finished. It is done. Christ has done it all.
Whether past, present or future, He is the same. He is God. He is “I am that I am”. No matter what a natural season, such as COVID-19, may look like in our lives, in every season, we should expect all that was finished on the cross to manifest in our lives. A three-day experience, to experience all other seasons simultaneously in one season. This new order only comes from the Christ within us. Christ in you, the hope of glory. Press into the Christ-life, by faith and not by sight. Stop focusing on what Christ is going to do, instead focus on what He has already accomplished. There’s nothing more that God can do for us. There’s a higher dimension of life we can tap into right here, right now. God’s season in our life is seeing things from His perspective, which is Jesus and His finished work. Christ came to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Jubilee, He has already provided a continual flow in every season of life – a lifetime of continual flow as He finished for us and as us. It is Passover. It is time for a reset. Let’s take our eyes off the world and fix our eyes on the finished work of the cross. He came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly. As Generation Christ, let’s appropriate this New Season of the Finished Work of the Cross – Dr Ben Kleynhans.
SUNDAY, 7 NOVEMBER: New Beginnings, by Dr. Ben Kleynhans: “Out of the chaos, God is about to create a new beginning”.
ISAIAH 60:1 (AMP)
“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come,
And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.
SUNDAY, 14 NOVEMBER: The Lord’s Prayer, by Pastor Thinus Delport: “God’s rule and reign in heaven must affect the earth.”
ECCLESIASTES 5:1 (AMP)
Guard your steps and focus on what you are doing as you go to the house of God and draw near to listen rather than to offer the [careless or irreverent] sacrifice of fools; for they are too ignorant to know they are doing evil.
SUNDAY, 21 NOVEMBER: In My Father’s House, by Pastor Charles van Onselen: “God’s heart is always open. His heart is never closed.”
JOHN 14:2 (AMP)
2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.
SUNDAY, 28 NOVEMBER: Thanksgiving, by Dr Ben Kleynhans: “Whatever you do and say must be thanksgiving unto God.”
COLOSSIANS 3:17 (AMP)
17 Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
