1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work,   and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Culture today is perhaps one of the biggest problems across the world. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture, that you compromise God’s standards. Don’t be afraid; God has redeemed you. He has called your name. You are His. When you’re in over your head, He’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead-end— Because He is God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Saviour. He paid a huge price for you. That’s how much you mean to Him! That’s how much He loves you! He’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you. This is a time of the restoration of the rule of the sons of God. It is time for sons to be given to the world. It is time for the people of God to become mature. God is establishing His Kingdom, building His temple and restoring the image of His Son. Nothing is going to stop it. God is raising a church with power and authority.
