Love is the force of His Kingdom

Let’s bring back the love, and life, of God

Leave a legacy of His love

It’s time that we restore love and life back to the church. During this COVID-19 lockdown, let’s find creative ways to encourage others and motivate them toward acts of compassion and doing beautiful works as expressions of love. Let’s not avoid connecting with one another but spurring each other on. We need each other. We cannot forsake or leave our first love, being Christ, His Word and His Body. We must be wholly devoted to the love of God. His love must be first, foremost, preeminent, chief and the principal thing. His Kingdom must be first in priority, rank and order. The wisdom of God is to first love and not to be angry without cause. There is no fear in love. Perfect love casts away all fear – Pastor Charles van Onselen.

Sunday, 7 February: Kingdom Economics and First Fruits, Part 3, by Pastor Randolph Barnwell:

The external state of your economic environment should not dictate your giving to God”.

PROVERBS 3:9 (AMP)

Honor the Lord with your wealth
And with the first fruits of all your crops (income)

Sunday, 14 February: Favour Comes After Tests Of Maturity, by Dr. Ben Kleynhans:

“The maturity of sonship will be tested. Tests in this life are tests of sonship”.

ISAIAH 61:1-4 (AMP)

1 Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me
To bring good news to the humble and afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted,
To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives
And freedom to prisoners,

2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance and retribution of our God,
To comfort all who mourn,

To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following:
To give them a turban instead of dust [on their heads, a sign of mourning],
The oil of joy instead of mourning,
The garment [expressive] of praise instead of a disheartened spirit.
So they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God],
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

4Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
They will raise up and restore the former desolations;
And they will renew the ruined cities,
The desolations (deserted settlements) of many generations.

Sunday, 21 February: Valuing Relationships: First Love, by Pastor Charles van Onselen:

“Invest your time, resources and energies in His first love”.

REVELATION 2:1-4 (AMP)

1 To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Ephesus write: “These are the words of the One who holds [firmly] the seven stars [which are the angels or messengers of the seven churches] in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands (the seven churches):

‘I know your deeds and your toil, and your patient endurance, and that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and have tested and critically appraised those who call themselves apostles (special messengers, personally chosen representatives, of Christ), and [in fact] are not, and have found them to be liars and impostors;

 and [I know that] you [who believe] are enduring patiently and are bearing up for My name’s sake, and that you have not grown weary [of being faithful to the truth].

 But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me].

 Sunday, 28 February: Immunity: Goshen, Part 1, by Pastor Ralph Ellaya:

“Lot was living in a society with wickedness and unrighteousness, but his righteousness was his immunity”.

2 PETER 2:5-7 (AMP)

and if He did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought [the judgment of] a flood upon the world of the ungodly;

 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter;

 and if He rescued righteous Lot, who was tormented by the immoral conduct of unprincipled and ungodly men
